The Outpost Lanterns are the ultimate lightweight lamps. The sturdy steel makes the lamp shock resistant, making it ideal for outdoor use. They are suitable as both table and pendant lamps thanks to the hook and base. You can use the lamp with included USB-C cable, your own batteries or the rechargeable Barebones Battery Forest & Railroad (not included as standard). Please note that this lamp is not rechargeable by itself!

Q: Can I use rechargeable batteries in the Outpost Lantern?
A: Yes! You can charge the lantern with two different types of batteries: LI-ION and D-cell batteries (both not included). The LI-ION battery is charged directly through the lantern when connected to a USB-C cable. D-cell batteries can also be used, but are not charged in the lantern. Rechargeable batteries reduce waste and can extend the lantern’s light time. Just change the batteries when you need them and charge them in the meantime.
Q: Can I store the Outpost Lantern outside for an extended period of time?
A: The Outpost lantern is not intended to be stored outside for extended periods of time. Prolonged exposure to wet conditions can cause rust and unnecessary wear. We recommend storing your lantern indoors after use to ensure it lasts as long as possible and you don’t have to purchase a replacement lantern.
