• Why Barebones?

Do you like being in nature, love outdoor cooking or enjoy camping? Then Barebones provides you with the basic need, with their high-quality products with a unique design. The products take your outdoor experience to the next level.

    Corporate Social Responsibility

Barebones produces a wide range of outdoor gear from various locations around the world. The philanthropic vision behind Barebones means that the company is constantly engaged in “corporate social responsibility.

Thanks to this vision and way of doing business, therefore, Barebones is entitled to bear the title “Certified B Corparation. A Certified B Corporation is a company that meets high standards when it comes to transparency and legal accountability, as well as social and environmental performance, For example, they use electric furnaces which reduces emissions and they use recycled raw materials and materials.

    Made for life

Barebones’ products are durable and resistant to wear under both normal and extreme conditions. They are made for life. As an example of a Barebones product that is truly made to last a lifetime, we take the cast iron Skillet. Barbones’ cast iron products contain a higher percentage of steel than comparable products. This addition of the steel makes the pans more resistant to rapid changes in temperature. And an added advantage is that this also makes them lighter in weight. Finally, the “pre-seasoning” of the pan ensures that the pan can be used immediately, as the searing of the pan has already been done by Barebones. So with proper maintenance, this pan is fit for life!

    ‘Giving back’ principle

Robert Workman, founder of Barebones, has spent his entire life with the idea of “giving back” to society, the “giving back” principle. Consequently, the first products Barebones developed were entirely focused on humanitarian aid.

Barebones has continued to evolve and now continues to give back to society in new ways. The “giving back” principle is in the heart of every Barebones employee. They each spend one week a year volunteering for a nonprofit organization of their choice and volunteering at the local high school in Utah.

But products also contribute to this principle. One example is the production of the Classic Work Glove. The gloves are handmade within a community in Pakistan. The production of the gloves there, makes it possible for the families to make a good living and thus also boost the environment economically.
