French bread with caramelized pear
A recipe first prepared by Missy Workman during a cooking demonstration at Barebones. It is easy to make and fantastic to taste!
Ingredients
1 Beurré d’Anjou (short, thick hand pear)
1 Baguette
1/2 glass of pure maple syrup
1/2 glass of mascarpone cheese
Preparation
- Cut the baguette into thin slices and grill each side, until the baguette is lightly toasted
- Cut the pear into quarters and set aside in a bowl
- In a Skillet over medium-high heat, combine the maple syrup and pears. Cook 4 minutes until caramelized
- Spread mascarpone over each slice of bread, then top with pears and sauce
